Wen Cheng (b. 2003, China)
is an interdisciplinary artist working across photography, archival materials, text, and installation. His practice examines intimacy, memory, and the fragile formation of identity within personal and collective histories. He is particularly interested in moments where emotional vulnerability, desire, and distance intersect, exploring how intimate relationships shape one’s sense of self within contemporary social and cultural conditions.
His work has been exhibited in China and internationally, including at the Art Museum of CUZ, Hangzhou; Wuhan Photography Art Centre, Wuhan; Boomer Gallery, London; and The Holy Art Gallery, Paris. He is currently an MFA candidate in Studio Art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
